TLR Evaluation

Max Garro is a game changing fogo that can win the ball and score all on his own. His vertical speed is insane and can score or push the fast break in the blink of an eye. You may need to put 2 poles way down on the defensive side just to slow him down! Once Max dishes off to teammates or point attackman, he moves well on the offensive side and can score off cuts and while moving on the crease. He is aggressive on defense and isn’t afraid to stay on and play lock down D and cause turnovers. His film shows that he has great ball skills in tight situations and uses his wingers well. Even if he loses a faceoff, Max grinds and hustles to groundballs and uses his speed to outrun the opposing fogo and come up with tough plays. College coaches should see the ability and know that his elite speed and offensive threat is weapon that you can’t coach. With another 2 years of technical faceoff work against high level competition & hitting the weight room, Garro will be well prepared to challenge D1 fogos at any level.
