Southlake (TX) rising senior attackman Bryce Wasserman has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Monmouth University.

Major lacrosse honors: 2x All North Texas Attackman, Brine All American, Jake Reed Nike Blue Chip, StickStar Top 2014 Team, 2x Offensive MVP, 2x Team Captain

What will you major in/study: Business Law

Why did you choose school: “I chose Monmouth University because of the opportunities that come with going to a new program. I will be able to play and compete immediately. I will also be able to help establish Monmouth University as a yearly contender in the MAAC and all of the NCAA. Coach (Brian) Fisher is a great coach and very knowledgeable so I can’t wait to play for him. The campus’ proximity to the beach is a big positive as well.”

Outlook for your high school team in 2014: “I am very excited for my High School team’s season. We compete in the talent rich North Texas Division 1 League. We always compete well with teams but haven’t pulled out the important ones. This year we return nine of 10 starters, giving us a leg up already just because of team chemistry and familiarity.”
