Junior Katie Kerrigan had two goals and three assists Saturday to lead Madison to a 12-7 victory over Langley in the Virginia girls’ state championship game at Westfield.

Madison (19-1) won its second state title in three years.

Senior Olivia Sisson scored four goals to lead Langley (15-6), which fell in the state final for the second straight season.

Chantilly 9, Madison 5

Junior goalie Patrick Meehan made 19 saves and Chantilly opened the game with a 5-0 run as it defeated the Warhawks (18-6) for its first Virginia boys’ lacrosse state championship since 2008.

Chantilly (21-2) had lost in the state finals the past two years.

Freshman Chris McLallen scored two goals for Madison.
