Summer Tournaments: MadLax-Rock 2014 claims June title at Under Armour Shootout

MadLax-Rock-Baltimore 2014 ELITE (formerly Chesapeake Rock 2014 ELITE) completed an undefeated run at UA Shootout June Session and defeated MLC (MD), 11-6, in the Championship Game to win the June session last week.

This title comes on the heels of the Rock’s championship run in last year’s session. With a roster than contains 13 Division I commits, MadLax-Rock-Baltimore ELITE completed the 24-team field in dominating fashion (8-0), beating a talented Madlax-Rock-Baltimore 2015 ELITE team, 12-5, in the quarterfinals and then another talented Blue Devil ELITE team convincingly in the semifinals.

Coached by Jeff Flaig, Scott Morrison, Todd Holtzner and Mark Monahan, MadLax-Rock-2014 ELITE has been recognized as one of the top 2014 teams in the country the past two seasons.

In July, there will be two more sessions with elite teams. the first session is July 7-10 and the second is July 14-17.
