Westminster School (GA) junior attackman Trip Wray has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lafayette College.

Major lacrosse honors, All-Star teams, Camps, Showcases: Won Georgia 1A-5A High School State Lacrosse Championship (2013); All-State selection as sophomore (2013); Started every Varsity game at attack as freshman (2012); Maverik Showtime (2012, 2013); Played at NSCLA, Crab City Challenge, Best of the Best, King of the Hill (2013).

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose the school? “I felt really comfortable and at-home on campus and especially with Coach (Jim) Rogalski, Coach (Matt) Musci, Coach (Ed) Williams and the players. I also liked Lafayette’s strength academically, and I’m excited and confident that the program is on the rise in the Patriot League and in D-I.”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “I think we surprised a lot people last year by winning the State Championship, because we were a young team. We return most of our starters but will have to work extra hard this year to defend our title and repeat.”
