What will you major in/study? Currently thinking business
Why did you choose the school? “Even though I don’t have a family connection to the school, I have loved UNC since the second grade. My desire to be a Tar Heel was definitely increased when I played there this past summer and even more once I got to know Coach (Joe) Breschi and Coach (Chris) Feifs. Getting to know Coach (John) Tillman at Maryland and Coach (Steve) Vaikness at Loyola made the decision tougher than I expected at the end, though.”
What is your team’s outlook for next season? “I think we’ll have a great year. Our team is moving up a division this year, but I think we’re definitely ready for it. We lost some great guys off last year’s team, but we’re also returning some really good players at all positions for this season.”
Thank You: “First, I thank God for blessing me with the opportunities I’ve had over the last few years. Of course, my parents who have encouraged me and provided me the opportunity to play the sport I love. I’d also like to thank all of my lacrosse coaches who have pushed me to work hard and get better: my high school coach and mentor, Pat Huskins at Vandegrift; Anthony Crimmins and Kyle Saunders at Dallas Select; Ken Miller at Long Island Sting; and Andy Garrigan, Kyle Loda, John Marano and Andy Pons at C2C. I’d also like to thank my trainer Scott Woolwine at Wild Basin Fitness. And also thank you to a few coaches who had faith in me early on: Dave Lapin, Tom O’Grady, and Kyle Anz.”
Other schools considered? Maryland, Loyola, Denver
