The Blake School (MN) senior attackman Grant Oie has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Beloit College.
Grant Oie ledger:
High School: The Blake School, Minneapolis, Minnesota
Graduation Year: 2014
College Choice: Beloit College
Club Affiliation: Minnesota Elite
Major lacrosse honors: First Team All-Section
What will you major in/study? Physics or Economics
Why did you choose Beloit? “I thought that Beloit was a perfect fit for me because it provides great academics in a style that differentiates from other schools, giving me more freedom to pursue what my primary interests are instead of filling out required courses.”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “I thought that we had a pretty good season last year, making it to the State tournament, considering a new coaching staff. I expect us to ramp up the intensity and competition in this coming season, we are returning our entire defense and attack which I think will give us a step up on other teams.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my friends and family first of all, they have made me into the person that I am today, I wouldn’t have been as determined if they weren’t around to push me.
“The Blake lacrosse program has been essential to my lacrosse career thus far, it drove my elementary lacrosse days because all I wanted to do was play for them.
“Minnesota Elite has been of a major help as well, not just with getting me exposed but also developing me as a player each summer.”
