4/9/2024 (Newtown Square, PA) – It was an intense day in Philly for a highly competitive girls lacrosse game for the Top Lax Recruits High School Game of The Week! #2 nationally ranked Episcopal Academy pulled off a convincing 10-4 win vs #18 ranked Summit.
After rising up the national rankings after beating #1 Ranked McDonogh (MD) earlier this season and going into the game with a perfect 7-0 record, EA prepared for a tough test in an undefeated Summit team (2-0)! These 2 powerhouse programs had a combined 22 D1 Committed players in this game!
For EA, Notre Dame Commit #4 Maura Irish had a great game leading the way with 3 goals along side of UNCOMMITTED 2026 Teagan Cook (2G, 1A), Pitt Commit Lainey McGonagle (1G 1A), & Penn Commit Avery Le (2G). Episcopal\’s goalie & Boston College Commit Grace Holland had 6 saves on 10 shots to get the W and keep her team undefeated.
