The Saints (19-6), who played five games in the last seven days while also winning the Virginia State Independent School title, gained its first win over Landon in school history.

St. Stephen’s had opened a 4-1 lead and later led, 5-2, before the defending champion Bears (13-7) rallied to tie on goals by Marshall Peters (two goals) and then Rey McTague and Fellows again within 27 seconds of the fourth quarter after a SSSA penalty.

But Saints senior goalie Sam Beazell (eight saves) made several key stops and Davis-Allen converted with his unassisted tally.
Jones Veith (two goals) then iced it off a feed from John Aversa with 1:38 left.
