7/28/23 – Kentfield, CA – Marin Catholic High School 2024 attackman Will Mangio will continue his athletic career after committing to Virginia Military Institute (VMI). The ADVNC standout will head to the East Coast for a new lacrosse journey. Mangio is expected to major in economics at the next level.
Why did you choose VMI? – “I chose to go to VMI because it checked most of the boxes. VMI has everything I wanted in a school, great lacrosse, division 1 football, a good surrounding area and most importantly it’s a great school. I also really connected with the coaches and the players I talked with.”
Who do you wish to thank? – “I would like to thank my coaches, family, and friends for helping me achieve my lifelong goal of playing college lacrosse. I especially want to thank Coach Grill, Coach Reid, and Coach Rotelli for helping me on this journey. Finally, I would like to thank Coach Purpura, Coach Clinton, and the rest of the VMI staff for believing in me.”
