“My overall reaction to our first event of the year, being on West Coast, and partnering with a great partner in Sandstorm and Rory Doucette could not have gone any better. The location was perfect and brought families from all over the West Coast. The overall talent in all three divisions was talented and showcased not only tough plays, but IQ that will definitely give some of the East Coast talent a run for their money. Overall, it was a great experience for all, and the teams are looking great! With around 375 registrants, it was the most the West Region has ever seen in the 18-year history.

The West All-America girls coaches are as followed:

Tryout Selection Process: “Our selection process is one that we use club and high school coaches from the area to help select teams with a member of Corrigan Sports Enterprises managing the process to make sure it is fair. While tryouts for a regional/national/HS etc. team can be excellent from an execution process, selecting teams will never be an exact science. We ask our evaluators and coaches to overlook the familiar but lean into the scheme/sets that would work best for their coaching style. The team that will head to Baltimore in the summer may not be made up of the best individual players, but is supposed to be made up of players that give their region the best chance to win a championship.” – Joe Kerrigan CSE
Do the West Teams have a chance to win it all? “When it comes to the strength of the teams coming out of the West, is that our west athletes are coming this year with a Chip on their shoulder. That coupled with just pure athleticism, we are super excited to see these teams compete with some of the best in the country this coming July. Many of our coaches relayed the message to us that this is the best talent pool the West Region has ever seen at a tryout.” -Joe Kerrigan CSE
For the last 17 years the All-America Lacrosse Tournament has helped showcase some of the top lacrosse talent in the nation in front of the best college programs in the country.
For the first time in 2023 the event will feature three divisions in each region, for each gender — the Command Division, the Highlight Division and the newly minted Burn Division. The Command Division will showcase players from the 2026 and 2027 high school graduation years. The Burn Division will feature 2025 players while the Highlight Division will exclusively feature 2024 players. Each division will compete within itself at the tryouts, those players that are selected by our evaluation team will then travel to the main event to determine which region is the best!
