West Islip High School (NY) rising junior attack Emily Piciullo has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Jacksonville University.

Lacrosse Honors: U15 team 2013, All-American game, School Girls second team

What will you major in/study? Marine Biology

Why did you choose JU? “I chose JU because it was the perfect fit for me, the coaches are extremely nice and all the players made me feel welcomed, it was my dream school.”

Thoughts on the season? “This year we accomplished an undefeated season, all the way to States but lost in the last round. It is the farthest West Islip girls lacrosse has ever gone. I think we have a chance to go back to State next season.”
