Rock Canyon High School (CO) rising junior midfielder Bailey McCue who plays for ThunderRidge High School, has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Winthrop University.

Why did you choose Winthrop? “I chose Winthrop because it was the best fit for me. Not only is the campus beautiful and in the perfect location, but the academics are excellent and small class sizes are beneficial as an athlete. I also loved the Coaches and their plans for the future. I can’t wait to be an Eagle!”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season? “We had a really good season and finished top 10 in the State which is always a big accomplishment! We had a really young team, only graduating two seniors, which means we have lots of chemistry and drive going into the next season.”
