North Shore (N.Y.) 2020 goalie Emma Russo has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.

Major lacrosse honors: Represented Long Island for the Brine National Lacrosse Classic in 2014 and in 2015; played for the Nassau 2020 Team in the Long Island All American Nassau vs Suffolk games in 2015 and 2016; Won the 2016 U.S. Lacrosse U14 National Championship; received a first round invite to compete at the 2017 Nike Elite 120.

What will you major in/study? Education

Why did you choose this school? “Saint Joe’s has the perfect combination of academics, athletics, size and location that I was looking for in a college. I felt an immediate connection with Coach Alex Kahoe, being a former Division 1 goalie herself, and I believe in what she is trying to accomplish with their program. I want to thank her for giving me the opportunity to be a part of it!”
