Huntington High School (NY) 2018 midfielder Emma Greenhill has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at James Madison University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose JMU? “The campus was exactly what I was looking for and the coaches and team atmosphere really stood out to me. I also loved the competitive environment of the team and the challenging conference JMU is in.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “We just moved up into the Big School division so it’s hard to say how we will do. We have never played these teams before so it’s all new competition, but I’d like to see us go all the way.”

Thank You: “Thank you to my family for sure. I grew up with lacrosse since both of my older brothers played. My parents also for supporting me through this whole process and always having my best interest at hand.

“I’d like to thank Dave and Vic Kotowski as well. They have taught and are still teaching me so much about the game and I can’t thank them enough. Both have guided me through the recruiting process to make it as stress free as possible.”
