TLR Evaluation
Kate Zambito is the complete package as a defender and play maker for any college program. Kate shows off her strong defensive positioning, footwork, and speed in several clips while overall making smart calculated hustle plays on the defensive side and in transition. She is also a solid offensive player by showing off her savvy off ball movement, timely cuts, and ability feed and finish. Playing for DEWLAX, she is battle tested at an elite level and has a long list (see below of lacrosse honors for her Cranford HS team). What stands out from her film is her elite footwork & hands on defense to dictate opposing dodgers and the quick twitch reactions to ground balls and scoop and speed down the field. Our staff really likes Zambito’s game and we think she will make an impact at the D1 level.
