TLR Evaluation
Nathan is a long athletic lefty pole with solid body positioning, approaches, timely checks, and the uncanny ability to eat up offensive players and cause a ton of turnovers. His sophomore season highlights really show off his takeaway and ground balls skills with the speed and athleticism to get the ball up and out across the field and push transition. While being nationally ranked in caused turnovers and picking up over 100 ground balls as a SOPHOMORE on varsity, Markowitz excels on closing down on ball carriers, using his body and stick to dictate, and throwing and landing a variety of checks and pokes. What stood out from his film is Nathan’s overall athleticism and speed in the middle of the field and confidence and speed with the ball in his stick. He is a game changing LSM that can do it all. We would love to see how dominant Nathan can be against top level club and national competition outside his spring ball in Ohio. As he continues to get bigger, stronger, and confident with right hand, our staff thinks he has a bright future and has a chance to land on a D1 roster or high level D2/D3.
