Sophomore goalie Sam Stroud made 12 saves and Connor Glancy scored five goals to help Malvern Prep (PA) claim a 12-9 victory Tuesday at St. Mary’s (MD) in Annapolis.
Kevin McGeary added two goals and two assists and Ryan Hilburn had two goals and one assist for the Friars (2-0), who are ranked No. 18 in the Warrior/ToplaxRecruits North America Rankings.
Landon School (MD) 6, Archbishop Spalding (MD) 4
The No. 17 Bears (3-1) got two goals from Zack Bolen. Spalding (3-2) was led by Nick kalas (two goals) and Justin Bell (14 saves).
Mountain Vista (CO) 10, Chaparral (CO) 9
Shane McKenna scored the game-winner late in the game for the visiting Golden Eagles (3-1).
Colton McCaffrey had three goals, one assists and four groundballs for Chaparral.

Brooke Winsness scored four goals, Jessi Masinko had three goals, three assists, and two interceptions
and Mackenzie Lech added two goals, two assists, two groundballs and four draw controls for No. 16 Milton (5-1).
Germantown Academy (PA) 14, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (PA) 6
Cooper Hall scored four goals while Hanna Bogorowski had two goals and an assist for the Patriots in their season and Inter-Ac League opener. Jennifer Stack added two goals for GA, while Allie Corrigan had 14 saves.
