Trumbull, CT – Our staff had to chance to attend the R2 Lacrosse MAAX Exposure Showcase this past Sunday that featured 60 uncommitted players from all over the country and a great group of NCAA coaches. Here are the players who impressed from the event!
Aliza Giordano, 2026 Attack, Nor-Easter Lacrosse – A confident and dynamic dodger and playmaker that shined on the offensive side all day. Very quick and agressive & athletic player with great speed and ability to finish from the outside and around the cage.
Kamiryn Boniello, 2026 Attack, Yellow Jackets North – Playmaking attacker that can score on her own or make timely cuts and finishes hard. Strong stick skills and ability to dodge and feed for assists.
Taylor Murtha, 2026 Attack, Long Island Yellow Jackets – Playmaking attacker with great dodging ability to get hands free and finish in a variety of ways. Hustles hard and causes turnovers on rides. Plays fast and with a sense of urgency.
Addison Kaplan, 2026 Attack, R2 Lacrosse Club – Amazing stick skills with a great shot. Swift dodger with the skillset to make a defender overcommit. Absolutely deadly when her hands are free inside the 8 meter. Uses fakes to create opportunities in the 1v1 game.
Molly Connolly, 2026 Attack M&D Orlando – Great playmaker on attack that rides hard and scores fast! Heck of a feeder and off-ball player that can fake and finish at an elite level.
Kayla Ruggiero, 2026 Attack, R2 Lacrosse Club – An aggressive cutter that can finish inside consistently. A gifted crease attacker that can get to cage in the face of a double team.
Nora Keating, 2028 Attack R2 Lacrosse Club – Tall imposing attacker with the stick skills necessary to compete against older competition. Strong, smart, and solid shooter that can feed to the inside as well.
Stella Cuneo, 2026 Attack/Midfield CLC Elite – Dynamic 2 handed player that uses change of speed and redodge to get around defenders and score or feed teammates. Can play both midfield and attack at a high level.
Kayla Bongiorno, 2026 Midfield, Legacy White – Athletic midfielder that controls the ball during transition, protects the possession, and manages the tempo well. Strong driver that can get to cage and make defenders miss when reengaging.
Madeline Francis, 2026 Midfield, Nor-Easter Lacrosse – Quick and athletic DO IT ALL midfielder with a cannon of a shot. Makes plays all over the field and plays fast. Tough to cover 1v1 and will get through entire defense on dodges.
Audrey Searle, 2025 Midfield, Denver Pride – Solid off ball player and finisher on the offensive end. Aggressive on rides and hustles all over the field.
Amelia Tutek, 2025 Defense, Gold Coast Lacrosse – Physical and rangy defender with great hands, footwork, and ability to dictate dodgers and slide. Very solid on GBs and makes good decisions with ball in transition.
Caleigh Fates, 2025 Midfield/Defense 3d New England – Do it all midfielder that never needs to come off of the field. Strong on defense and can clear the ball all on her own with her speed and stick protection. Plays at a high level on both sides of the ball and on the draw wings.
Addison Winfield, 2026 Midfield/Defense, Dynasty Elite – Solid 2 way player with great field awareness and ability to scrap for ground balls and make plays. Plays sound defense with aggressive hands/checks on ball.
Averill Zimmer, 2025 Defense, Lake Effect Storm Elite – Physical shutdown defender that is tough to beat 1v1. Strong hands and great footwork against dodgers. Plays confident and under control.
Sabrina Asadurian, 2026 Defense, LI Jesters – Aggressive and athletic shut down defender with speed to burn in transition. Very opportunistic on loose balls and can scoop and clear the ball in the blink of an eye.
Kaci Wood, 2026 Defense, YJ Long Island Yellow Jackets Gryz – Tall and athletic defender that plays smart and takes advantage of loose ground balls by using her length and box out ability. Has quick and active hands on defense and can take the ball coast to coast all on her own.
Taylor Foster, 2026 Defense R2 Lacrosse Club – A true athlete in every sense of the word. She has tremendous footwork, solid defensive positioning, and the ability to clear the ball up field with unmatched speed. Definitely a player to watch come summer.
Gwengolyn Mobilia, 2026 Goalie, Sound Lacrosse – Explosive goalie with quick hands and great footwork to get pipe to pipe. Steps well to shots and makes smart decisions on the clear. Impact keeper.
Amanda Carey, 2026 Goalie, Compass – Solid goalie with great hands and footwork. Makes good decisions on clears and make plays outside of the crease.
