TLR Evaluation

Katarina Dietz is an all around solid keeper with strong explosive hands, good footwork, and uncanny ability to make saves in a variety of ways. While playing for FLG, Kat has shown that she can be a game changing goalie against high level club competition and can be demoralizing for any shooter to try to score on. She steps hard to her left side and has quick reactions and hands to make off ball saves. Also, we love how Dietz gets control of the ball and dishes out quick, accurate outlet passes to teammates to spark transition. She also shows a cool presence in the cage and impressive vision on 1on1 in tight shots around the crease and off penalty shots. One area of improvement will need to be with her stick skills and handling/cradling and making plays outside of the crease with the ball on clears. Our staff believes she has all the skills to make a D1 roster and be an impact player at the next level.
