TLR Evaluation

Madalynn is an excellent ball stopper with quick hands, reactions, and footwork between the pipes. The combination of her vision and athleticism is a dream for any coach. Against strong club competition, Madalynn shows off her ability to step hard and get hands down to low and off stick shots along with the reactions to get up to high shots as well. What stood out from her tape is the explosiveness she shows on several 1v1 saves with shooters faking and getting stuffed by this elite goalie. Off of rebounds and ground balls, she hustles and protects her stick well around defenders and is fast enough to get into space and make good decisions with the ball on clears. This is a goalie that will only continue to improve and make a splash on a D1 roster, given the chance.
