FRISCO, TX – Below are 10 players that shined in Day 1 of boys’ action Saturday at the C2C Spotlight Top Prospect Camp in the Dallas area.

Due to heavy rain, the drills were moved to nearby Frisco Indoor Sports. The offensive players spent several hours on line drills and ball movement, while the defense practice footwork and checking.
Here is a rundown of 10 players that shined.
Owen Seebold, Highland Park HS, TX, 2017, Attack, The Syracuse commit is as good as advertised. Seebold impressed coaches with his endurance and stickwork. The junior attackman commands the ball and makes some amazing shots on cage.
Sam Schroder, St. Mark’s School, TX, 2018, Midfield, Schroder is fast, he loves to move with or without the ball. His dodges are perfect. And he plays solid defense when he has to. He has the tools to be a top Division I player.
Luke Policke, Cedar Park HS, TX, 2018, Midfield, Another player who looks as good as advertised. Policke is an exciting player to watch play the game. His agility and footwork is top notch. Isn’t afraid to get physical on D. Policke has the skills to be a first year starter wherever he ends up.
Matt Chopp, Sierra Canyon HS, CA, 2018, Midfield, Chopp did some good things during the morning session. He showed some good ball movement. Makes good decisions. Love the LAX I.Q.
Archie Alexander, Colorado Academy, CO, 2018, Midfield, Alexander is tough and strong. The junior is another exciting player that is very athletic and is continuing to improve.
Ben Goyne, Coppell HS, TX, 2017, Midfield, Goyne is an excellent lacrosse player. Goyne could easily play for some of the high school programs in the northeast. Goyne gets after it. It will be interesting to see where this junior middie will end up.
Holden Markoff, Episcopal Houston, TX, 2017, Goalie, Markoff is 5’4 but his heart and passion for the game make up for it. He plays well around the crease. He made some outstanding saves on some big time shooters. Markoff impressed the college coaches in attendance with his communication skills and clears.
Zeke Day, North Atlanta HS, GA, 2018, Defense, Love the way this kid plays the defense position. He engages the ball carrier well. The sophomore doesn’t let up on pressure but he also allows enough space to work and deliver some nasty checks. It will interesting to see where he lands.
Jacob Stoebner, Westlake HS, TX, 2018, Defense, Stoebner just needs the looks and show the college coaches that he is the real deal, and he is. His footwork is perfect. Good on scooping up the GB’s. Excellent LAX I.Q.
Cole Watson, Flower Mound HS, TX, 2017, Attack, Watson is going to be a steal for whoever gets him. The junior has a good shot on cage and he hustles. Watson is getting healthier after getting injured earlier this year. Watson is a gritty attackman who will dodge his way to the cage but also will show his unselfishness by moving the ball around.
