Jackson Poe, ’24 defender, has decided to continue his academic and athletic career at Christopher Newport University. Poe, a senior at Glen Allen High School, was a varsity captain on the school’s boys’s lacrosse team for the past 3 years. In addition to being a leader on the field, Poe is also a leader in the classroom, achieving a 3.6 weighted GPA. Prior to his commitment to CNU, Poe played with Richmond Hawks Lacrosse Club.
Why did you choose CNU? – “I have always loved CNU and grew up with people around me going there and telling me how great the school and the lacrosse program is.” (Poe)
Who do you wish to thank? – “I want to thank my parents, brother, friends, and coaches for helping me through the process. Everyone told me CNU was my best fit and I believe it completely.” (Poe)
