July 20, 2023 | Maryland – This past weekend teams from all over the country traveled to play at one of the nations top tournaments in Maryland, the Pinnacle Lacrosse Championship. A multitude of teams in divisions ranging from 2029 to 2024 and over 130 college coaches showed up in Boyds to determine who was the best and who would take home the championship.

Within the 2024 divIsion there were subdivisions A and AA with over 10 teams in each division.
In the 2024 A division three teams took the top spots including True IL Premier, Minnesota Loons, and NJLC all going 3-0 in regular play for the weekend. When it came to the playoffs it came down to True IL Premier and NJLC in the finals battling to see who was the best. With a close 5-3 game, True IL came out on top and closed the weekend off undefeated.
For the 2024 AA subdivision there were four brackets within, each containing an undefeated team: DC Express Black(3), True Baltimore Black (1), CW Elite (4), and Legends National (2). With much surprise, DC Express, CW Elite, and Legends National all lost on their way to the championship, loosing their opportunity to take home a championship title. In the final game, True Baltimore took on Patriot Elite Green (7) and with a 6-5 upset, Patriot Elite went home winners.

The 2025 and 2026 divisions followed in similar format including a high number of teams in both the A and AA subdivisions.
The 2025 A bracket hosted three undefeated teams including Upper Level (2), True IL Premier (3), and NJLC (1). With another surprising turn of events, Upper Level ended up facing No. 8 Next Level Red in the championship game and came out on top with a 6-5 win to clinch the championship title.
Similarly in the 2025 AA division there were five brackets that each held a top team: Sixers (1), BBL Black (6), Tri-State (3), Cavalry LC (2), and Carolina Miners Yellow (4). Sixers took on Tri-State in the final game and with a 5-4 win, Sixers took home the championship.
In the 2026 A division, Coastal Lacrosse Academy (5) and True IL Premier (1) were top teams based on their records in regular play. When playoffs came, DC Express surprised us and ended up in the final game, taking on Coastal Lacrosse Academy. That being said, Coastal went home winners after a 9-4 win.
For the 2026 AA division, DC Express Black (1), BBL Black (3), Mad Dog West Elite (5), Kings Blue (4), and Sixers (2) all finished regular play undefeated. As expected in the final game No. 1 DC Express played No. 2 Sixers but with an upset, Sixers came out winners after defeated DC Express 6-3.

2028 A: True Nationals 2028 White
2028 AA: 3D New England 2028 Red
2029 A: Red Hots Black
2029 AA: Next Level 2029
