Brother Rice won its 10th straight Michigan Division I state championship this spring (click for game coverage here by TopLaxRecruits.com) and players earned the following post-season honors:

* Five US Lacrosse All Americans Named: Jason Alessi (Yale), Joe Dudley (Michigan State), Patrick Cosgrove (Indiana University), Joe Plaskey (Mercyhurst), and Chris Lievois (University of Michigan)

*All State Awards were also given to: Jason Alessi, Joe Dudley, Patrick Cosgrove, Joe Plaskey and Chris Lievois, and face off-specialist Evan Dennis

*Jason Alessi was also awarded the Chuck Vorce Award – MI Player of the Year, Warrior Sports High School Player of the Year, and the US Lacrosse Bob Scott Award

*Ajay Chawla was awarded the US Lacrosse Coach of the Year for Michigan

*Mark Hamilton was awarded the US Assistance Lacrosse Coach of the Year for Michigan and the MHSLCA Assistant Coach of the Year

*The Brother Rice Lacrosse Team also earned First Team All Academic Awards

*Brother Rice finished No. 23 in the final Warrior/TopLaxRecruits.com North America Rankings
