Mount Sinai (N.Y.) 2022 defender/midfielder Delilah Mile of Yellow Jackets LI has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at SUNY at Albany.

Delilah Mile profile:

Delilah Mile

High school: Mount Sinai High school (Mount Sinai, NY)

Grad year: 2022

Positions: Defense, Midfield

College committed to: SUNY at Albany

Club team: Yellow Jackets LI

Why did you choose SUNY at Albany, Women’s D1? “I felt that this college was the perfect fit for me. The main reason I chose this college was because of the coaches. From talking to coach (Katie) Rowan for the past few weeks and hearing feedback from other Albany players about how amazing and motivational she is I realized that Albany was the place for me. I have heard nothing but good things about Albany’s women’s lacrosse and how competitive they are. I am so excited to be apart of this program.”

Is there anything else you would like to share? “I would love to give a special thanks to my coaches. Coach Bert developed me into the player I am today and all of the hard practices and toughness payed off. Also, coach Carannante. Coach was my defensive coach and I am so thankful that I had him during this whole process. Thank you coaches for everything you have done for me. As well as my parents. My biggest supporters, thank you for everything you do for me in making sure I am the best player I can be. In pushing me to my limit and being at every single game. Thanks you all!”

What other colleges did you consider? Fairfield , Stony Brook
