Why did you choose Navy, Women’s D1? “I chose it for its great academics, quality of lacrosse program, and of course all the benefits from serving my country. The pride behind going to Navy is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The coaches are amazing and so knowledgeable. I will also be carrying on the Naval Academy legacy in my family; my dad and two of my uncles went to Navy. I love the location and I am very familiar with Annapolis, Maryland because my mom lived in Maryland her whole life – and of course my dad at Navy!”
Is there anything else you would like to share? “Thank you to all my coaches, especially Coach Bill O’Brien (elementary school through middle school), Coach Leslie Why, Coach Callie Santos and Coach Kerry D’Ambroise.”
What other colleges did you consider? “I was all over the place with D1 colleges, but as soon as Navy reached out, I knew that was an offer I could never pass up. I also knew I wanted to be driving distance from my house.”
