Robinson delivered his hat trick in the first half to help the Eagles snap a 1-1 tie with four consecutive goals.

“We thought about this game all season,” Robinson, a 2019 midfielder who has signed with Delaware. “We understood what it would take to get back, and we really executed on gameday.”

Down 5-2 at halftime, Pride head coach Brodie Merrill urged his team to score the next goal to get back in the game. But English’s tally idway through the third quarter opened a four-goal advantage for the Eagles.

“The outcome is disappointing,” Merrill said. But I’m proud of our effort. That being said, there were a couple key stretches where we could not find our game of take advantage of some opportunities.”
