Pennsylvania native, Jonah Pertet, is staying close to home as he chooses Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. The 2024 long-stick midfielder currently plays for Wilson High School and navigated the recruiting process playing club for Blak Widow . He was on the County All Division Team and was named Rookie of the Year by his school lacrosse coaches. Jonah was also named as a All Star at the Trilogy Radar Invitational tournament this summer. In the classroom Jonah is an Honor Roll student and plans to study engineering as a student-athlete. When Jonah was searching to play at the next level he also looked at Chatham, Moravian, Mary Washington, and Hampton but Jonah told TLC he chose Elizabethtown because “I believed that it had the best fit for me. I really like the fact that they have the majors and minors that I want to study in. I also like Coach McGuire a lot and I see him as a very good coach. The campus of this school is also very very nice.” Last but not least he wants to thank “God for helping me get to this point in my life, my mom and my grandfather for always supporting me even when it got tough, my coaches for helping me understand and learn lacrosse, all my friends, teammates, and especially my Fogo Eric who always pushed me to be better.” From the Top Lax recruits Family, we wish you the best of luck in Pennsylvania and can’t wait to see all you accomplish, Jonah!
