4/14/23 – Annapolis, MD – The Dolphins of Jacksonville University have received commitment from Indian Creek School 2024 goalkeeper Elia Alewine. The junior has received plenty of recognition at the high school level in two full-seasons. Alewine has been named a two-time USA Lacrosse Notable Player of the Week and a two-time IAAM All-Conference member. She is also a two-time conference champion. The future Dolphin has eclipsed over 130 saves in each of her first three high school seasons. Off of the field the Integrity Green goalie currently has a 4.0 GPA. Alewine is the secretary for Indian Creek’s One Love and Eagles with a Purpose clubs, as well as being chosen to represent her school at the IAAM Student Athlete workshop last year.

Why did you choose Jacksonville? – “I chose JU because it is everything I was looking for in a school and lacrosse program. The coaches and team have such a great tight-knit and supportive culture which really excites me and I am really grateful to continue my academic and athletic career there.”
Who do you wish to thank? – “A huge thank you to my family, friends, and coaches for helping me get here.”
