Centennial (GA) 2015 attackman Nathan Solomon has been named the Heritage Lacrosse Male Player of the Week.Heritage logo

In a 12-10 win over Alpharetta on Monday Solomon reached 500 career points, a rare feat for high school players. He had an amazing 26 points in his first two games and has 33 points and 17 assists this year to help Centennial to a 5-1 start. Overall, Solomon has 263 goals and 239 assists for 502 points.

How do you feel about reaching 500 career points?
Solomon:
“It’s a huge honor and a great feeling, especially to be among the other people who are up on the list. They’re great players who I look up to. I really couldn’t have done it without the great support of my team though.”

What helped you achieve such a strong performance?
Solomon:
“My teammates are really supportive of me, and I would like to think that I play 110% every time I step onto the field.”

What is your team’s outlook for the 2015 season?
Solomon:
“We’re hoping to win another state title (Centennial won it last in 2013). I think if we all rally behind each other and put forth the attitude and effort it can be done.”

What are your personal goals for the 2015 season?

Solomon: “To try and guide my brother Nicky, as well as win another state championship.”

Solomon, of LB3 Atlanta, has signed to play at Syracuse.
