What will you major in/study? “I am considering pursuing a future with some kind of athletic affiliation. Whether it is sports science or sports marketing, I have not yet decided.”
Why did you choose USC? “The campus is so beautiful and perfect, the day I first stepped foot on the USC campus I was in love immediately. Also, the school has so much to offer academically and athletically and I look forward to spending my 4 years of college there. And I cannot forget to mention how amazing the coaches are. They are huge role models and it will be such an honor to get to play for these accomplished players/coaches. Not to mention, I have lived in the north all my life, being in Southern California is definitely something to look forward to!”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “I have been on my high school varsity team for 4 years, winning the State Championship Title the past 3 years, and runner-up title my first year. It is definitely a goal of ours to make it to the Championship game, if not win it for the 4th year in a row. That would be awesome!”
Thank You: “I definitely thank my parents for hauling me around to all the soccer and lacrosse practices, games, and tournaments since the age of 4. Being a part of Minnesota Elite has allowed me to play at the most competitive level and against the highest competition in the nation, and my coaches and teammates have been great.
“My high school coach, Laura Mark, has helped me gain confidence and ability to develop as a player, and she was especially helpful during my recruiting process. And of course, I give a huge thanks to my youth coach, Maria Slusser, for introducing me to the sport in 4th grade and being my mentor throughout these years as a lacrosse player.”
