Poway High (CA) junior defensive midfielder Asia Pitzer has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of California Davis.

Major lacrosse honors, camps: Adrenaline Showcase (’11), San Diego WDNT Team (’11, ’12, ’13), 1st team All-League (’12), 1st team Div I CIF (’12), 1st team All-CIF (’12), Under Armour West Team (’12), Northstar Invitational (’12).
Academic Honors: National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, Scholar Athlete (’12).
What will you major in/study? Engineering
Why did you choose UC Davis? “Davis is the full package. The new coaches, Kate Henwood and Amanda Kammes, have such a great vision and are so dedicated. The team is hilarious and I totally gravitate to their personalities, and the general population of people in Davis are super nice. Plus, Davis is a gorgeous school with a prestigious engineering and science reputation.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “Win League and win San Diego CIF – Open Division. Go big and go hard, man.”
