Hereford (MD) sophomore midfielder Caroline May has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Florida.

Major lacrosse honors: 2012 WDNT National Schoolgirls Baltimore Metro Team 3; 2011 MYLA All-Star Team; 2012 Vanderbilt University Camp All-Star Award; 2012 US Lacrosse U15 National Champion; Elite 120

Academic Honors: National Honor Society

Why did you choose Florida? “I loved the campus, the athletic tradition, the team, the coaches, and it is a good academic fit for me.”

What is your HS team’s outlook 2013? “I’m really looking forward to this spring. We have a lot of strong returning talent and I hope to make it far this year!”
