FINAL: LaSalle College HS (PA) 11 St. Joseph\’s Prep (PA) 3

5/27/2024 (Philadelphia, PA) – It was a beautiful night in Philly for a league championship at the Top Lax Recruits High School Game of The Week! #18 Nationally ranked LaSalle College High School (PA) improved their record to 17-1 with a 11-3 win over unranked St. Joe\’s Prep.

This is a big conference rivalry game between 2 Catholic League powers in the Philly Area with a ton of pedigree and committed players on both sides! LaSalle had won 7 straight PCL championships and geared up to win 8 straight going into the game.

This game was back and forth in the 1st half as LaSalle jumped out to a 3-1 lead early and was really hitting their stride on offense lead by #19 Paul Van Bastelaar \’24 Attack (UPENN commit) and #22 Max Wickersham \’25 Attack (Hopkins Commit), who both ended the game with 4 goals. St. Joe\’s had a offensive bright spots from #6 Luke Bieberbach \’25 Attack (Hobart Commit) 2 goals & a goal by #2 Dom Flynn \’27 Midfielder.

The Prep on defense was lead by uncommitted \’25 Goalie #28 Keegan Dunn & some great plays and leadership by #5 Nick Cunningham \’25 defender (UMASS commit) and #25 Conall Maguier \’24 Defender.
