Wilmington Friends School (DE) 2019 midfielder Peyton McNeill has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lafayette College.
Peyton McNeill profile:

High School: Wilmington Friends School (Delaware)
Grad year: 2019
Position: Midfield
College committed to: Lafayette College
Club team: Big4 HHH
What do you plan to major in? Undecided, but interested in the sciences and engineering programs
Why did you choose the school? “I chose Lafayette College because it was the best overall fit for me. It has a great combination of outstanding academics and athletics. The college offers a great variety of courses and is one of the only liberal arts schools with a strong science and engineering program. There was also a great sense of community that I felt as soon as I stepped foot on campus. The coaching staff also exceeded my expectations with its hospitality during my visits to Lafayette. Finally, I am excited by the steps that Coach (James) Rogalski and the rest of the coaching staff are taking to make Lafayette even more competitive in the always strong Patriot League.”
HS team’s Outlook for 2017 season: “My high school team had a great season last year, but lost in the state quarterfinals. We have a number of strong returning players and some new players who have the potential to contribute early. We hope to go deeper into the playoffs and play for the state championship.”
Thank You: “First, I would like to thank my parents for their love and support. I would not be able to achieve any of my goals without their guidance. I would also like to thank my Big4 HHH coaches – McKinney, Gregg, Danehy, Resch, Vandegrift and the rest of the staff – for helping me to improve as a player. Additionally, I would like to thank my high school coach, Jake Rashkind, and the rest of the Wilmington Friends coaching staff for their support and encouragement. I also would like to thank all of my past and current teammates for pushing me to become a better player. Finally, I want to thank the Wilmington Wings, Rippin’ Rope Lacrosse, and Fusion Lacrosse, my youth teams, for helping me build a strong foundation and develop my love for the sport.”
