Charlotte Catholic High School (NC) 2017 attackman Austin Stewart has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Methodist University.

What will you major in/study? “Undecided, either Law School with a double major in English and Physiology or Med School/Physician Assistant while studying physiology.”

Why did you choose Methodist? “I liked the small school setting, it made me feel right at home.”

HS teams outlook for 2017? “I think we will be very good despite losing some amazing players. We return a lot of fire power on offense and on the defensive side we have multiple players who are good enough to fill the spots that we lost to graduation last year. I think if the new guys fill the spots left open due to graduation, learn to work together and not rely on certain people to make plays, we can make it to a State Championship.”
