What will you major in/study? Finance
Why did you choose Rutgers? “I chose Rutgers for many reasons. I love the atmosphere of the school, just going to a basketball game where they are winning by 50 is still a joy to be at. I felt like a bigger school was for me. The thing that stood out to me the most when I visited, which all the other schools I visited didn’t do, is how well they take care of the alumni after they graduate. They will not rest knowing that one of their alumni is unemployed. The school has one of the highest employment rates three months prior to graduating. The Business program is outstanding and it’s in a great area to get internships.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017? “Brother Rice is on the breach of having one of its standout seasons, of its fantastic history. The senior class is one of the strongest Brother Rice classes in its history with multiple guys going to powerhouse schools and a great line of players.
“This is going to be the hardest schedule Brother Rice has ever had as we play some teams we are familiar with such as Culver, New Trier, Carmel, St. Michaels. But we have new opponents such as Victor from upstate New York, MICDS from St.Louis and Cathedral from Indiana. The launch of the new Midwest Lacrosse League is also a great opportunity to play other Midwest powerhouses we will probably run into at the tournament such as Loyola and Desmet. It looks to be a great season that can be memorable.”
Thank You: “Special thanks to Jake Kenney, Stephan Mcnultay, Lou Conroy, Luke Timmis, Peter Plaskey, John Henneghan, Michael Hamilton, Graham Adams, Chris Garland, Derek Kenney, Alan Tsang, and Ajay Chawla.”
Other schools considered: Providence and Lehigh
