Service: “I volunteer for a program that brings lacrosse to at-risk youth in an inner-city community center and at a juvenile correctional facility.”

Why did you choose Denison? “In addition to Denison’s beautiful campus and great academics, Denison Men’s Lacrosse is a top Division III program that often wins its conference and plays in the NCAA Tournament. Also, Coach (Mike) Caravana was a four-time All-American attack at University of Virginia, and he has a reputation for getting the best out of his players, so I know I can learn a lot from him and work hard to improve every day.”

HS team’s 2018 outlook: “I think we are going to have a strong season. We went 15-0 regular season last year and lost in the semifinals of the State Tournament. A few key players graduated last year, but we expect that our guys this year can help fill those gaps.”

Thank You: “I’m grateful to my parents for all of their support at countless lacrosse events over the years. I want to thank my coaches at Wilmington Friends, and in particular Head Coach Jake Rashkind, who trusted me to change and expand my role on the team in a way that helped me develop exponentially. I’d like to thank my Club Coach, Jay Motta, for five incredibly valuable years of club lacrosse.”

Other schools considered: University of Delaware, UMass at Amherst.
