High School: Weston High School, Connecticut

Graduation Year: 2016

Position: F/O Middie

College Choice: Lafayette College (ConnectLAX college profile)

Club Affiliations: CT Eclipse, LI Express

Lacrosse Honors: FLG in 3D All-Star, FLG in 3D Face-off combine runner up, ECLC All-Star, 2012 CT State Champion

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Lafayette? “Lafayette offers the perfect mix of challenging academics and competitive lacrosse. I also felt very comfortable on campus. Lastly, I felt a strong connection with the coaching staff.”

Thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/outlook for next season? “This past season we came up a little short. We were looking to repeat as State Champions, and sadly we were unable to achieve our goal. I have high hopes for our upcoming season. Although we graduated one of the best goalies in the country, Grant Limone, and one of our most dynamic midfielders, Troy Flynn, we will be returning eight starters, which is very encouraging.”

Thank You: “First off, I’d like to thank my Mother for her support throughout the recruiting process as well as my everyday life. She spent hours driving to my tournaments and camps. She is the loudest mom on the sideline and her support fueled me.

“I’d like to thank my High School Coaches, John Mathews, Josh Maciorowski, and Gordon Bombay for their support and dedication to The Weston High School Lacrosse Program.

“I wouldn’t be the player I am today without Coach Josh Thornton. (Norwalk Head Lacrosse Coach) He was my coach from 7th-10th grade and pushed my teammates and me to our full potential.

“Thank you Dave Fiorini for preparing us mentally and physically for our season.

“Thank you to The Eclipse Lacrosse Club. They taught me so much this summer, and were always willing to help in the recruiting process.

“I’d like to thank Jim Mason and Lukas Horn for their guidance and for the life lessons they have taught me.

“Lastly, I’d like to thank The Lafayette coaching staff for giving me this opportunity.”

Other schools considered: Dartmouth, Delaware, Gettysburg, Middlebury, Bucknell, Drexel
