Why did you choose the school? “Because it had a great atmosphere for me. The city is a lot like home. It’s also very close to home which is nice. The campus is gorgeous and is close to the mountains. The coaches are some of the best in the NCAA. It’s also a top program that has the chance to win many NCAA championships down the line. And it has good academics.”
Outlook for 2015 HS/box season? “It should be good. We have a great box team (Warriors) that can compete all over Canada and win. For field I’m looking to play in some good tournaments in the spring and summer after hockey season which should be fun.”
Thank You: “I would really like to thank my school and box team coaches, Paul Rai and Jimmy Quinlan. The reason I’m in this position is from all the things they have taught me and everything I’ve learned. They really helped me with my game. I owe a lot of my lacrosse success to them and they really are the best coaches I’ve ever had. I would also like to thank Rod Payne and Jim Weller and the Apex Lacrosse Club for getting me the connections and helping me with my field game. They have taught me a bunch as well. A special thanks to my parents and my family for supporting my brother and I along our journey. I really owe a lot to them and all the time and money they have spent on us.”
Other schools considered? Yale, Marquette, Saint Joseph’s University, Salisbury.
