Graduation Year: 2017

College Choice: University of Vermont

What will you major in/study? Business with a minor in Psychology

Why did you choose UVM? “The undergraduate business program, school size, city of Burlington and easy access to amazing lakes and mountains were all big draws for me. I also made a great connection with Coach (Ryan) Curtis and Coach (Mike) Kruger. Their system and coaching style is a great fit for a two way Middie and I was also excited about what their plans are for the future of the program.”

Thoughts on your HS team’s season? “We were extremely competitive in a tough conference. In the regular season three of our four losses were in OT and the other by one goal in regulation We graduated some great guys that I’m going to miss and I wish we could have sent them off with a better win-loss record.”

Thank You: “I want to thank my parents and all of my teammates and coaches over the years for the incredible experiences and for making all the hard work and effort so much fun.

“I’ve received incredible training, support and exposure as a player from the Eclipse Lacrosse Club, especially Jamie Hanford, Chip Buzzeo, Andy Towers and Jon Appelt, and they’ve also been invaluable throughout the entire recruiting process.

“Staples High School Lacrosse coaches Paul McNulty, Drew Smith and Matt Johnson have always challenged me to be the best I can be and pulling me up as a freshman to train with bigger, stronger, faster players really accelerated my development.

“Last but not least I want to thank Chris Buck who has been a great mentor and keeps me focused on doing what it takes to be a successful student athlete.”

Other schools considered: Providence, Delaware, Marquette
