What will you major in/study? Business or Marketing/Finance

Why did you choose Hofstra? “Hofstra has all the majors I am considering studying in college, and their business program is unparalleled. Hofstra’s lacrosse team receives great academic support with the help of their Academic Advisor.”

“I very much agree with the coaching philosophy and ethics. I think both the head coach (Seth Tierney) and assistant coach (Kevin Unterstein) are great coaches. I was able to watch a fall practice and the coaching isn’t too different from my club team (Team MN).

“Hofstra’s Lacrosse facilities are amazing, I loved the Lacrosse field and the locker rooms are phenomenal. I also thoroughly enjoyed the campus, there was lots of vegetation, greenery and trees all over the campus. The campus wasn’t too big and not too small, it was medium sized like I had wanted.

“Overall, Hofstra is the perfect combination of academics and Lacrosse for me.”

Outlook for 2016 HS season? “Last year my team, the Bobcats, managed to finish with a winning record despite short numbers (under 20 players) and we had just started a Lacrosse team that year. We graduated 10 seniors and this year we are gaining about 10 freshman who are new to the game. There is some athletic ability and talent among our new freshman and we hope to expand their knowledge and love of the game as well as their skill.

“I hope to be named Captain of the team, although I am an underclassmen, and lead the team to another winning season with sights of winning our conference. “Last year our top scorer transferred, Junior Attackman Peter Dadlez to fill his shoes this year, I plan to outdo my stats from last year, score more goals, more assists and pickup more ground balls (1g, 3a and 75gb’s). I am looking forward to a fun season!”

Thank You: “I would like to, first, thank my father and mother for supporting me. Lacrosse is an expensive sport and I’m lucky I have such great parents to support me both emotionally and financially.

“All of my Team Minnesota coaches have been amazing. At my first tryout Coah Graff wanted to see me with a D-pole in my hand, I was a Middie at first, and afterwards I decided to stay at Defense and plan to for the rest of my lacrosse career. My Team Minnesota Coaches this last year, Coach Fleck and Coach Carlson have helped me so much. My skill grew unbelievably over the summer and with no doubt I would not be committed had Coach Fleck and Carlson not been my coaches.

“I also want to thank my High School coach, Ben Mooney. I had a very fun season last year and I am looking forward to the next 3 season playing under him.

“Special thanks to Coach Ted of 6×6, I have been training with coach Ted since u13 and will continue to do so throughout High School.”
