Why did you choose Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because I felt like it was the right fit for me academically and athletically. “Coach (Kevin) Cassese and the coaching staff made me feel very comfortable, and it is an added bonus that I will get to continue to play competitive lacrosse with my brother.”
Thoughts on this past season/outlook for next season? “Our team was strong last season, we had great senior leadership and I received a lot of support from our upperclassmen which led us to our success. We did lose some great players, but our seniors this year are strong and determined to win, our coaches are dedicated and our underclassmen are eager to prove themselves. We will definitely be a top contender for the Central League title.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for spending endless hours with me on the lacrosse field and for teaching me that hard work and dedication will lead to success.
“Thank you to all of my High School coaches; Jason Orlando, Rory Friel, Ryne Adolph, Kevin Cuigini, and Austin Kaut for pushing me to become the best goalie I can be.
“A special thanks to Coach Tom Lemieux, he has supported me and provided me an opportunity, as a freshman, to work hard, buy into his system and earn a starting position. He has also spent countless hours with me throughout the recruiting process to ensure that I made the right decision for me.
“I would also like to thank the Big 4 coaching staff, Eric Gregg and Billy McKinney, they have showed me the importance of a strong lacrosse IQ, made me realize how successful a team can be when they work together and have worked hard to provide our team the opportunity to play, at the highest level, in front of the best college coaches in the country.
“Thank you to the Dukes LC coaching staff; Ebe Helm, Jason Christmas, Coach Vetrone and Coach Fallon, I am just starting with the Dukes program, and the coaching staff has been very helpful and supportive.
“Thank you to my Mesa Fresh/Fever coaches, Billy Holmes, John Nostrant, Roddy Marino and Paul O’Grady.
“Most importantly, I would like to thank all of my team mates, Springfield, Big4/HHH, Dukes LC and Mesa/ Fever, all of your hard work on the field, makes my job easy. I am very fortunate to play with some of the most talented players in the country.
“Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Cassese for offering me the opportunity to become a Mountain Hawk and to play lacrosse at Lehigh University.”
