Why did you choose Swarthmore? “I chose Swarthmore because of the exciting academic and athletic opportunities it offers. I appreciate how Coach Pat Gress places clear emphasis on succeeding both on the field and in the classroom. I’m also very interested in the unique opportunities at Swarthmore, such as its Honors Program. In addition, my family and friends will be able to attend my games because the school is close to my home.’

HS team’s 2018 outlook: “We have a strong group of underclassmen, who have already stepped up for us in our first regular season games in Florida. After a shortcoming at the end of last season, we are focusing our efforts on our goal of winning a Friends Schools League Championship this year. I feel optimistic about our team this year because we are highly motivated and have been preparing since the end of last season. We will be playing with chips on our shoulders for the entire season.”

Also, I’d like to thank my high school coaches, Mark Duncan, Joe Donnelly, Rob Chambers, and Kevin Crowley, for pushing to improve my skills me each day; and my Mesa Fresh coaches, Paul O’Grady and Scott Gabrielsen, were also instrumental in my development as a lacrosse player. I thank them for having confidence in me and instilling a gritty attitude into my game ever since I was a weak eighth grader. I’d also like to thank John Begier, who has assiduously helped me through the recruiting process. I’m grateful for all of my teammates on both Mesa and Shipley, as they constantly push me to become a better player and person.”
