Why did you choose the school? “I had a different feeling when I visited. I felt a connection to the school and saw myself doing well there. The sense of teamwork and brotherhood is hard to beat and VMI appealed to me in that way.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “I plan on doing well this season. Robinson has a great shot at winning states again and I see myself being a major contributor again this year. We are all definitely looking forward to this season. I can’t wait to get the team chemistry going again.”

Thank You: “I am very grateful for the opportunities I have been given and the people who continue to motivate me. Coach Frank Keel, one of my Robinson coaches, has been very helpful in his tips and strategies when playing and in his recruiting advice. My teammates have given me the best advice and challenged me the most out of anyone and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I am thankful for my dad and my brother Nick who have taught me so much and my mom for making the house calm when things were super stressful. The recruiting process was one of the most stressful times for me and I’m glad it’s over. The way that it worked out was ideal because by the time I had seen VMI, I had been to many colleges, so I was able to see and understand why I wanted to go to VMI. I had to talk to alumni from VMI, like Coach Zanelotti from VLC, in order to be 100% sure of my decision, but after talking with them and my brothers, Steve and Bud, I was positive that VMI was the place for me.”
