Wes Moshier

High School: Millburn High School, New Jersey

Graduation Year: 2016

Position: Goalie

College Choice: Lafayette College (ConnectLAX college profile)

Club Affiliation: NJ Riot

Lacrosse Honors: NJ U15 All-Star, Varsity Letter Frosh/Sophomore Years, Millburn HS Athlete of Week (April 2014), Philly Showcase 2014 Fab 40 All-Star, Trilogy 2014 Academic Aces All-Star, Super Sophs, National 175 (Also starting LB/FB on Varsity Football team as Soph)

What will you major in/study? Mechanical Engineering

Why did you choose Lafayette? “Academically, Lafayette is one of the top schools in which lacrosse and Engineering are available. Coach (Jim) Rogalski, Coach (Ed) Williams and Coach (Matt) Musci definitely have the lacrosse program moving forward and they showed a sincere interest in me. They also balance the academic and athletic schedules really well. An added bonus is that it is about an hour from home so my family will be able to watch me play.”

Thoughts on this past season/outlook for next season? “This past season can be looked at as a rebuilding season as we returned only 3 starters from the year before. As the starter I gained tremendous experience until I missed the last 6 Games of the season with an injury. I think we will be greatly improved next year.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents for all the time they have spent bringing me to tournaments, showcases and camps over the many years.

“I would also like to thank all my coaches…Coach McCutcheon (both Bill Sr & Jr), Rob Novack, Ted Glynn and Coach Leonardis (Football) for all the support and help they gave me through the process.

“Finally I want to thank Lee Southren for all he did for me and the whole NJ Riot program.”

Other schools considered: Stevens, Vermont, Tufts, Dickinson, Coast Guard, Holy Cross
