What will you major in/study? Business School
Why did you choose the school? “I loved the team and the attitude of the players. The coaches were extremely enthusiastic about lacrosse and my game, which made me feel like I would contribute as a Terp. The campus was beautiful and had a great vibe. The teams academic adviser is one of the nicest ladies and I loved to see that the players were getting great jobs after college. Maryland University had an all around great feel for me in the classroom, locker room, dorms and everywhere else on the beautiful campus. I can’t wait to be a Terp.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “Lovett looks strong again this year but will be missing our starting goalie from last year, Ben Flood. Cal pierce, who is committed to Boston University, and I will be the poles up top and when needed at close down low. Can’t wait to see what Coach Buzcek has in store for us.
Thank You: “Thanks to Kevin Hudson for coaching me all of these summers and keeping me focused on my goal as well as teaching me how to work hard at practice; and Josh White for teaching me how to play defense at the next level and showing me how to work harder than everyone else to achieve my goal of playing D1.
“Thanks to Jeff Lowe for helping me to hold myself in the right manner and state of mind on and off the field. He taught me the mentality to win but to win with class; Jim Buczek for making me run harder than ever before and showing me how to use my speed in games while being disciplined; Ryan Gallager, Adam Corby, and Charlie King for pushing me harder and harder everyday at practice since 3rd grade.
“Lastly, thanks to my parents, Phil and Nicole Bogard, for traveling with me to all of the tournaments and being the most supportive parents.”
Other schools considered? Cornell, Loyola, Michigan, Richmond, Syracuse
