Why did you choose Susquehanna? “I’ve always wanted to go to college in PA. Not exactly sure why, I just really have wanted to. Right when I walked onto campus I loved almost everything about it. Everything was beautiful and the college is spread out perfectly so it doesn’t even feel that small. I loved what Coach (Stewart) Moan had to say about the program and how he runs it. I ate lunch with some of the team and they were all really great guys and I had a great time with them. Also, the team has won the Landmark Conference two years in a row and I know that streak won’t be ending soon. Lastly, the team has made it to the NCAA tournament the past two years (and probably will in the future) and one of the biggest things I wanted in a school was to have a team that is successful and competes for a national championship.”
Outlook for your High School season? “We had a really successful year last year. We have been turning the program around for the past 3 years and have made tremendous strides. Although we have lost in the conference championship game the past two years, we plan to win it this year. We graduated a lot of starting seniors but we have many talented players stepping up to the plate and I have complete faith in every one of them.”
Thank You: “I would love to thank my parents for being with me every step of the way through the recruiting process, through all the ups and downs they have always supported me. I would also love to thank Aaron Soloman for being by my side and being a great coach and friend since freshman year and always pushing me to be my best. I wouldn’t have made it this far without him.
“I would love to thank Claudey Abranchess and “The Grind” for making me an even better player than before and showing me what it truly means to work hard.
“Lastly, I would love to thank my teammates and close friends for supporting me. Without them I couldn’t have made it this far because lacrosse is a team sport.”
Other schools considered: Tampa, Mary Washington, Adams State, Berry, VA Wesleyan, John Carrol, Bridgewater
