Why did you choose Tufts? “In the fall of 8th grade is when I first met Coach (Assistant Coach Stephen) Toomy – he was the assistant coach at Harvard at the time.  I have always had a strong relationship with him and over the years we have always kept in touch. This winter I went up to campus (Tufts) to watch one of the games and I knew it was the right place. The academics, my relationship with the coaching staff and the location of the school are why I chose Tufts. What’s most important to me when looking for the right school is academics. Tufts caught my eye from the beginning since it is a very prestigious academic university. The location of the school is also very important to me. Since I was younger (and even to this day) I have been all over the East Coast going to many prospect camps. Every time I would go to a prospect camp in the Boston area, I always knew it was a special place. There is always so much to do and it is a beautiful city. Another thing that I value highly when looking for a school is my relationship with the coaching staff.”
